Jagaddhatri aka officer Jass is here to outshine all other adarsh bahurani’s. She is a brilliant cook, handles household, takes care of family, solves murder case and makes criminals confess crime with her pressure tactics. Now, that’s quite something that not all other bahu ranis of Bengali soaps currently have. Moreover, the makers are adding all sorts of twists and drama to spice up the entertainment quotient in the tale that has both the flavor of detective stories and family drama. The current story is revolving around the false charges leveled against Jass after she is being framed by Divya Sen, Mehendi, Utsab and Tushartirtha. On one hand, she is trying to prove her innocence, on the other hand, the show is also featuring fights in the family to make sure Swayambhu doesn’t get his rights. The Dibyojyoti Dutta and Swastika Ghosh starrer is replaced from the top most position on TRP charts this week. Though the makers left no stone unturned to add back-to-back twists in the tale, ‘Anurager Chhowa’ is lagging in terms of TRPs and has slipped to number two spot this week. The current story of the family drama, which has been dominating the TRP charts for a long time now, is revolving around differences between estranged couple Surya and Deepa. Even after daughter Sona reveals the truth to Surya, he is still not convinced and misunderstands wife Deepa. Abhishek Bose and Divyani Dutta starrer ‘Phulki’ sustained its spot on TRP charts this week too. It has bagged the third position. Since launch, the soap opera has been performing well and is mostly spotted in the top three list. This week too, Phulki’s TRPs are pretty good. Ranga Bou has been adding back-to-back tweaks in its story and it seem to be working pretty well. The daily soap is following the struggle of elderly couple Tarunjyoti-Belarani who find solace in protagonists Pakhi and Kush after being ousted by their biological sons. Past few episodes of Ranga Bou have been rich in terms of emotional quotient. Right from Tarunjyoti realizing his faults, Pakhi and Kush’s constant effort to make their elderly uncle-aunts happy to Pyari Bhaban finally going back to its rightful owners; recent episodes had a lot of emotional moments. Bahu rani Parna might not have been able to woo her mom-in-law in ‘Neem Phuler Modhu’, but she certainly has won over the audience. The family drama starring Rubel Das and Pallavi Sharma is in fifth spot this time. Its current story is revolving around the issues between protagonists Srijan and Parna.
