Here’s a good news for all the fans of actor Jisshu U Sengupta, whose famous one-liners and natural hosting skill made him one of the most sought-after anchors on Bengali TV, will soon be back with his new inning. The fourth season of popular music reality series ‘Super Singer’ is all set to hit the small screen. Starting from January 7, the reality show will entertain the audience every weekend. The upcoming season promises to be a star-studded one with singers Shaan and Monali Thakur as the esteemed judges. This time, singer Rupam Islam will join the panel of judges which is going to be a musical treat for Bengali audience. Rupam doesn’t make much appearances on reality shows unlike other artists from Tollywood music industry.

While Jisshu’s presence in Super Singer’s new season was quite anticipated, fans hoped Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam will be a part of this edition as well, just like the previous one. But he is going to give the show a miss just like eminent singers Kumar Sanu and Koushiki Chakraborty, who had been a part of the show for quite some time now.

Super Singer Season 4, will bring 25 talented singers, on one stage who will musically battle it out to win the coveted title of the show. Music composer and singer Sovon Ganguly will be the music arranger for the show. Sujoy Bhowmik, Dipannita Chowdhury and Tirtha Bhattacharya will be grooming the participants throughout the season.
