Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi: Rikdev and Madhubani partake in post-wedding rituals
As per the current track of the Bengali television show ‘Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi’, Rikdev and Madhubani are now busy settling down with their family at the Sengupta Residence. After Rikdev married Madhubani, Rik’s grandmother Surama had denounced him as her grandson. Consequently, Rikdev had left the Sengupta residence with Madhubani and Mihi by his side. After they had settled down at Madhubani’s rented apartment, three of them had embarked on their journey as a family. However, after Rikdev’s grandfather Purnendu fell ill and Madhubani helped him recover, Purnendu declared that Rikdev, along with Madhubani and Mihi would stay at the Sengupta residence. Surama had to agree with Purnendu for the sake of his well-being. When Madhubani entered the Sengupta residence as Rikdev’s wife, she promised Surama that she would not give her any chance to regret her decision.
Once Madhubani entered the Sengupta residence as Rikdev’s wife, she had to navigate her way through a series of post-wedding rituals. Madhubani followed all the traditions and took part in those rituals wholeheartedly. In between the rush of all those rituals, Mihi, who suffered from diabetes, was being neglected.
To feed her on time, Madhubani came to the kitchen to fetch some food. Incidentally, Rikdev too appeared in the kitchen at the same time and crossed each other’s paths during the Kaal Ratri. Thammi was enraged to see Rikdev and Madhubani disrespecting the tradition but later understood why both of them had rushed to the kitchen.
On the other hand, Amrita, along with Rumi, kept plotting to evict Madhubani and Mihi from the Sengupta residence. When Mihi wanted to offer something during Puja, Amrita asked Mihi to offer a bowl of chicken stew. However, Madhubani had noticed Mihi carrying the bowl of chicken earlier and she managed the situation. Will Madhubani and Mihi truly find acceptance in the Sengupta family?‘Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechi’ narrates the story of a single mother.
