Actor Ishita Dutta is winning hearts not just with her performances but also with her honest and inspiring postpartum journey. Just 22 days after giving birth to her second child, Ishita has seen a “massive” weight loss—and she’s opened up about exactly how she did it.“For all asking me what I did… here’s a quick breakdown,” Ishita shared, before revealing her postpartum diet routine. “I’ve been on a very healthy diet—no sugar, lots of veggies, nuts, seeds, and fruits. I’ve also been having soups and absolutely no junk food.” Emphasizing balance and simplicity, she added that her meals are mostly homemade and cooked with less oil. “All ghar ka less oil khana and smaller, frequent meals,” she wrote.Ishita also credits breastfeeding as a key contributor to her fast weight loss. “Breastfeeding makes you lose a lot of calories,” she explained, highlighting how natural processes combined with clean eating can make a significant difference post-delivery.The Drishyam actor, who delivered both her babies pre-term at 36 weeks through vaginal birth, also offered guidance to fellow moms. “Every body is different, every pregnancy is different.
Do what’s best for you,” she advised, encouraging new mothers not to compare journeys.“There’s no way to guarantee a vaginal delivery. Eat healthy, stay active if your doctor allows—but know that sometimes, even if you do everything right, things may go differently. And that’s okay,” she added. While her recovery may seem swift, Ishita’s approach is rooted in patience, discipline, and body awareness. Her candid revelation about clean eating, realistic fitness, and the natural role of breastfeeding gives hope and practical direction to new mothers aiming for a healthy and sustainable postpartum transformation.
