With a heavy heart Sabyasachi shared how, Shankar, with whom he shared the screen in ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’, struggled to meet the end and feed his wife and young grandson. Seeing no other option, Shankar had to keep his ‘embarrassment’ aside and sought for help on the busy streets of Haati Bagan.

In the social media post, Sabyasachi shared, that his co-star, who left him in complete awe with his stellar performance, didn’t leave Kolkata when Salil Chowdhury asked him to work in the Mumbai industry. Shankar wanted to work in

which is enriched with some greatest talents of all time. Interestingly, Sabyasachi himself, pursued his higher education abroad from a very prestigious institution but his love for the city and the industry brought him back.
