Sayantani happy to play a positive role in Anurager Chhoya

Talking about her role, Sayantani shared, “I play the character of Anuja in the serial. It’s a positive character and the storyline of the show revolves the beauty of skin colour vs the beauty of one's heart and soul. I have played so many negative roles in my career spanning 12 years. But now, after a long time, the audience will be seeing me in a positive role. I am loving the feedback so far.”

Sayantani’s look in the serial is also a bit different from all the other characters that she has played in her career. “I am in love with my look in Anurager Chhoya. And all credit goes to my stylist. Even my husband, Indranil, complimented me saying that this is my best look so far among all the serials I have been a part of. For the role, I am wearing beautiful cotton handloom saris in pastel shades, accessorising with silver and black polish jewellery and my makeup is also very light,” added the actress.
