Sayantani to play a character with grey shades in Hoyto Tomari Janye

Sengupta has started shooting for her upcoming serial, Hoyto Tomari Janye, which will be aired from February 15. The mega serial has

several popular artistes

like Chaiti Ghoshal, Jeetu Kamal, Krishna Kishore, Chumki Chowdhury and others.

in the serial, Sayantani said, “In this serial, I’ll be playing a character with grey shades. I have done several projects where I have essayed

negative roles

. But I love doing such characters. Here, I play the role of Swathi, a very ambitious working woman who has a different take on relationships and family matters. The writer of the serial, Srabasti Di, has visualised my character very differently.”

The actress is working for the first time with most of her co-stars who are a part of the serial. “My shooting has started and I can’t wait for my episodes to be aired. I have worked earlier with Jeetu Kamal and Chaiti Di, but I am working for the first time with the rest of the cast and crew and even the channel and production house. It’s been a great experience till now,” added Sayantani.
