Shubho Bibaho: Tej takes care of Sudha as she is injured

‘Shubho Bibaho’ has entered a new era in its storyline with Tej and Sudha’s marriage. As per the current track of the show, Tej and Sudha have finally married each other but the post-marriage drama in their lives has only started.

After Kanan Devi picked Sudha for her grandson Tej’s would-be wife, Tej and Sudha ended up marrying each other despite back-to-back drama on the wedding day. Before taking the wedding vows, Sudha decided to tell everything about her past to Tej in a letter. But, Sudha’s letter was swapped by Iman and Tej never got to read the actual letter. Later, as per Iman’s plan, Tej got a glance of a photo where Sudha was seen as a married woman. Tej confronted Sudha and upon asking her, got to know that she was a divorcee. Tej decided to break the marriage as no one in the Basu Mallick family had ever married a divorcee.

Meanwhile, Iman came up with her proposal to Tej and offered to marry him to fulfill her own ulterior motives. However, keeping his family’s reputation in mind, Tej decided to marry Sudha despite their differences. Tej kept the truth about Sudha’s past concealed for the time being and asked Sudha to do the same.

On the other hand, Iman sneaked into the Basu Mullick residence with the help of Tarita and called Tej after midnight. Iman told him that she was waiting for him at the hall and forced him to meet her by blackmailing him about disclosing Sudha’s past. Meanwhile, Sudha saw a shadow walking around the hall and hit her with a vase.

Tej met Iman and she kept on blackmailing him. However, Tej agreed to meet Iman the next day. On the other hand, Sudha kept chasing the shadow and when she was about to alert the household, Tej stopped her. When Tej asked Sudha, Sudha told him about the shadow. Tej noticed Sudha was limping and her feet were bloody. Tej insisted on tending to Sudha, but Sudha kept saying no to that.

Tarita, on the other hand, brought the family to the spot and everyone witnessed Tej and Sudha together during Kaal Ratri. Both Tej and Sudha tried to explain the situation but in vain.

Will the family forgive Tej and Sudha?

‘Shubho Bibaho’ revolves around the journey of a divorced woman and how she defies the stigma of being a divorcee. On one hand, Sudha, the female protagonist, is a woman who chooses to focus on her professional life after handling a blow in her personal life. As she recovers from a failed marriage, her professional life takes a flight. On the other hand, Tej, the male protagonist, hails from an aristocratic business family. Despite being one of the most eligible bachelors in town, Tej is not that interested in settling down. In his mind, he will agree to marry whoever his family chooses for him. Meanwhile, Kanan Devi, the matriarch of Tej’s family, picks Sudha as the match for her grandson Tej.

‘Shubho Bibaho’ stars Sonamoni Saha as Sudha, as the female protagonist on the show. Honey Bafna is seen as the male lead Tej on the show. Saswati Guhathakurta plays the character of Kanan Devi, the matriarch. Sonamoni was last seen in ‘Ekka Dokka’, after ‘Mohor’, which aired on the same TV channel. On that show, she was paired up with Saptarshi Maulik. On the other hand, Honey Bafna has been a popular face on Bengali TV after working in serials like ‘Bokul Katha’, ‘Prothoma Kadambini’, ‘Sohag Jol’.
