Bengali television is set to welcome a series of new shows including the one based on the life of legendary poet Ramprasad Sen. The show has been making quite a buzz for its star cast ever since it was announced. Interestingly, the show that has an interesting cast, will have a soul-touching and melodious title track too. And Bollywood singer Shaan, who is currently a part of the recently launched music reality show ‘Super Singer Season 4’, lent his voice for the song. He recently recorded the song too.
The Bollywood singer, who has many hit songs to his credit, will be seen singing a devotional song after quite some time. Shaan also did the title track of Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh and Indrani Paul starrer ‘Nabab Nandini’. It was a hummable romantic track. Besides that, he also did an album featuring Trina Saha. The peppy number won the hearts of his fans instantly. But the experience of singing the title track of ‘Ramprasad’, which was soul-touching while recording the devotional one, was totally different and Shaan enjoyed every bit of it.
Meanwhile, Shaan is currently busy with the reality show ‘Super Singer Season 4’ where he shares the judges’ panel with singers Rupam Islam and Monali Thakur.
Speaking about the upcoming project ‘Ramprasad’, it has an interesting cast. The makers have roped in actor Sabyasachi Chowdhury to play the titular role, ‘Soudaminir Sansaar’ fame Sushmili Acharjee is playing his reel wife while popular actress Payel Dey will essay Devi Kali in the show. Besides them, the devotional show will also feature some of the most popular faces of Tollywood playing prominent roles.
