Sreemoyee Chattoraj shares first glimpse of her and Kanchan Mullick’s daughter Krishvi

Sreemoyee Chattoraj is embracing motherhood after giving birth to her first child. The well-known face of Bengali television welcomed a daughter with her husband, actor-politician Kanchan Mullick earlier this month. The couple hadn’t revealed anything about the pregnancy before. However, on the day of Laxmi Puja, Sreemoyee’s attire raised the rumors about the possibility of her being pregnant. Right after that, Kanchan and Sreemoyee shared an image of toys and a feeding bottle on Instagram carrying the text “Hi on the auspicious occasion we would like to share the best news of our life…We are now a family of three, Please bless our baby girl Krishvi.” Celebrities from the Bengali entertainment industry like Raj Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, Anindita Raychaudhury congratulated the couple in the comments section.

On Wednesday, Sreemoyee took to Instagram to share a picture of her daughter Krishvi. The Bengali TV actress shared a snap where the newborn is seen holding her finger with her hand. However, the couple hasn’t yet shared the face of their daughter.

After breaking the news of embracing motherhood, Sreemoyee shared about her pregnancy journey on social media. Posting a picture of herself from her pregnancy journey, Sreemoyee wrote, “It’s been a long journey... Journey of 9 months. Journey of lots emotional and physical ups and downs, journey where a small life used to kick inside me and that felt such a bliss... Finally after the long wait, my angel has arrived and seeing her I realised every pain, every emotion is worth her arrival.”

Earlier this year, Sreemoyee Chattoraj tied the knot with actor-politician Kanchan Mullick after years of denying their rumoured affair. The duo got legally married on February 14, after Kanchan’s divorce was finalised with his ex-wife Pinky Banerjee in January this year. After registering their marriage legally, Kanchan and Sreemoyee went on to take the wedding vows in a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony on March 2. After the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds hosted a reception party for their colleagues and friends. Kanchan and Sreemoyee jetted off to Maldives for their honeymoon after the ‘Krishnakoli’ famed actress celebrated her first birthday post marriage in June.
