‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ fame Angana Roy hospitalised due to food poisoning

Angana Roy isn’t keeping well. The Bengali actress had to be hospitalised after the festivities as she suffered from food poisoning. The ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ famed actress shared her whereabouts via social media. However, Angana assured that she was recovering after the receiving the medical treatment.

Angana revealed that she suffered food poisoning just after the Kali Puja. The actress was invited to a few Puja Mandaps and she had consumed the Bhog/Prashad during her visit to those pandals. Angana mentioned that she felt unwell afterward. She had to be hospitalised after her blood pressure fell below her normal readings. However, Angana also added that she was getting better and would be discharged from the hospital soon.

This year, Angana’s Durga Puja has been all about family gatherings, catching up with friends, laughter and a lot of love. The actress had a low-key Durga Puja this time and spent the days with her loved ones. Angana’s Durga Puja diary featured her beau and actor Rohaan Bhattacharjee as well.
Angana Roy, who is a well-known face in the Bengali entertainment industry, began her journey on Bengali television with ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ in October 2023. The actress was seen essaying the character of Parbati in the mega serial. She was cast opposite Rohaan Bhattacharjee on the show. However, Angana exited the show due to health-related reasons back in June and Rooqma Ray took the baton of Paro. ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ concluded after a while Angana left the show. Angana has also been a part of ‘Pariah: Vol 1: Every Street Dog Has a Name’. In the Tathagata Mukherjee directorial, Angana shared the screen with Vikram Chatterjee. Tathagata announced ‘Pariah: Vol 2: Rise of Kalbhairav’ a month back and confirmed Angana to be a part of the film.

Angana has been romantically linked with her ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ co-star Rohaan for quite some time now. The duo, who had been friends from before, is reported to have grown closer to each other over the course of working together on the TV show. Angana and Rohaan have been packing their social media feed with their adorable PDA as well. This year, the duo spent Durga Puja together as well.
