Though I have millions of followers on social media, which is increasing everyday, I couldn't have thought of a better reach than this. She is a name to reckon with from the music industry and her validation matters a lot," Gourab said.

Reels are now the quickest way to the hearts of one's social media audience. Is Gourab serious about working behind the camera as much as he is about acting in front of it? "Yes, this appreciation has a special meaning for me because I plan to take up direction work in a couple of years. Though I will be acting alongside, I am keen on direction too. I loved the fact that Shreya Ghoshal took notice of my work as she is an important personality from the industry. My reels are impromptu mostly. I get a few minutes break in between shots and I try to do something hurriedly. But I avoid making the popular glamourous reels. What I like is telling a story behind the scene shot and adding music and edits to it. I don't have formal training in editing or movie making. So, one can say that this is like a practice for me," he shared.
The actor is a huge fan of Shreya and just can't get over the appreciation. "Lata Mangeshkar and Shreya Ghoshal are my most favourite singers and they are extremely melodious. To get encouragement from a personality you look up to from your field of work gives you a different high," he said.
