“The courage and strength that you gave me to have my kids later in life,” Cohen said to Kotb during the segment. He recalled a meaningful exchange they shared at Radio Andy. “You and I had a very impactful conversation in the hallway one day.”

Kotb immediately remembered the moment, smiling warmly as Cohen recounted her words. “You were like, ‘It’s right on time. It’s okay,’” he shared. “Because I was worried about where I was in my life and my age, and you really set me straight. That conversation was very impactful to me personally, and I really thank you for that guidance.”

Cohen, now a proud father of two, has often spoken about the joy his children bring to his life. Kotb, who adopted her daughters Haley Joy, 6, and Hope Catherine, 4, later in life herself, has been a vocal advocate for embracing parenthood on one’s own timeline.
