Chat show host Ellen DeGeneres, actor
Elijah Wood and other famous faces took to Twitter to voice their outrage after Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant signed the anti-gay law.
Bryant signed the "Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act" into law on April 5.

The Governor said that it would prevent "government from interfering with people of faith who are exercising their religious beliefs...In matters of marriage."
