Eva Longoria will present her first fashion show this year

Actor Eva Longoria is set to put on her first catwalk show for her eponymous clothing line at the New York Fashion Week this year.

The 42-year-old star will showcase a new line for The Eva Longoria Collection in New York on September 13, the Women's Wear Daily reported.

The brunette beauty said she has constantly been asked to launch a clothing line.

"People keep asking me why it's taken me so long to do a clothing line, because I've been wanting to do it forever," Longoria said.
