Jeezy is finally breaking his silence about his divorce from Jeannie Mai... admitting the decision to end things wasn't easy, but his love for his estranged boo isn't forgotten.
Jeezy states in a statement to TMZ, "The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart." Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remain, and the time we spent together will be remembered fondly."

He goes on to say, "Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves."
Jeezy filed for divorce in Georgia this month, stating that there was no possibility of reconciliation.
The two have a one-year-old daughter, Monaco, together... and we're informed there's a prenup in place.
Jeannie was accused of cheating on Jeezy with "Access Hollywood" host Mario Lopez, but a source close to her insisted that was not the case. They've been living together since he filed, but they don't interact much other than crossing paths as they come and go from the house.

Earlier, Jeannie posted a picture of a handwritten note with the words, "Sometimes, you need to take a break and disconnect, to heal." The TV personality did not provide any extra context for the shot, instead merely captioning it with a black heart emoji.
Her brief remark came only weeks after a source told Page Six exclusively that Mai is "devastated" about her divorce. "The truth is Jeannie wants her marriage to work and wants her family to be one solid unit," a person familiar with the matter said.
