Jeremy Clarkson's farmer choir has been crowned the winner of 'Britain's Got Talent' 2026. The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir, put together by the 'Clarkson's Farm' presenter, 66, made history on Saturday night by becoming the first choir ever to win the long-running talent show. Clarkson was visibly emotional in the audience, applauding as the group delivered their winning performance in the live final.
After the result was announced, choir member Katryna Shell addressed hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly with a heartfelt message. "We are the first ever choir to have won 'Britain's Got Talent'. This is for all the farmers out there, for anybody that's struggling, it's not a taboo subject, if you're not OK, speak up, this is for the farmers."
The group will receive a £250,000 cash prize and the opportunity to perform at the annual Royal Variety Performance.
What the judges said about the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir
The choir performed an original song titled 'This Is Home', a decision that initially gave judge Simon Cowell pause. However, after their performance, he told them "it paid off," describing it as "absolutely stunning," "heartfelt" and "joyous."
Fellow judge Amanda Holden was brought to tears. "You've made me cry again.
I couldn't be prouder of you. The harmonising was beautiful, and watching the changing seasons behind you, and really thinking about every second that you spend sowing dreams into that earth, which is one of the beautiful lines of that song," she told the group.
Judge KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, said he wanted to add 'This Is Home' to his Spotify playlist after hearing it performed live. Before taking to the stage, the choir described Clarkson as their "biggest cheerleader" and said they "couldn't thank him enough" for his support throughout the competition.
The rest of the 'Britain's Got Talent' 2026 finale
Celestial, a drone display team, finished in second place after a pre-recorded performance recreating moments from previous series of 'Britain's Got Talent' using illuminated drones. Dog act Anastasiia and Salsa finished third.
The final also featured several memorable moments beyond the competition itself. Judge Alesha Dixon reunited with her girl group 'Mis-Teeq', completed by Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash, for the first time in more than 20 years, performing a medley of their hits, including 'Scandalous'. The trio also announced they will return to the stage for a One Night Stand gig at London's Wembley Arena on September 12.
Fire-eater Liwei Yang opened the show with a spectacular performance alongside her husband, involving a blazing skipping rope, two ropes of fire, and a climax that saw her balance a giant flaming table in the air with her feet. The performance came after a brief delay while safety teams prepared the stage. Other acts on the night included magician and musician Rafferty Coope and poet Sonny Green.
