Mom gets renewed for season six
Allison Janney and Anna Faris starrer "Mom" has been renewed for the sixth season.
The comedy, in which the duo plays mother-daughter who are recovering from alcohol and substance abuse, got strong TRPs during its fifth season in the 9 p.m. Thursday slot.
"'Mom' has been a lynchpin comedy for us over the last several years. It's a fearless series that tackles provocative social issues with laughter and grace, and a large, loyal audience has followed."
