TV actors have wowed us for ages with their stellar performances, their fashion and lifestyle choices for ages. Like everyone else, they too have good, bad, weird and great habits. While we all may have enjoyed their onscreen persona, their offscreen image may be slightly varied from what we generally imagine. And their weirdest habits stand testimony to the same.

Reese Witherspoon once confessed that she has a weird habit of collecting insects. “If there are bugs or weird things, I pick it up. I have a morbid fascination with bugs. It grosses people out. It’s weird and gross, I know. I can’t stop, it’s like a compulsion,” she said while speaking to INBOUND in 2023.
Further, in a conversation with Natalie Portman for Harper’s Bazaar in 2019, she explained the reason behind her interest in creepy creatures. “This is going to sound weird, but I like collecting insects and spiders. I was kind of a tomboy growing up. It grosses everybody out, but I like to pick up bugs."

Nicole Kidman has an undying love for relishing insects. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2018, the actor described insects as exquisite and went on to enjoy a full-course meal consisting primarily of bugs and corn worms. The perfect couple actor later revealed that she suffers from lepidoterophobia( fear of butterflies) but doesn't mind being covered by cockroaches.

One of our favourite actors from ‘The Friends’, Jennifer, has a weird habit of taping the plane before boarding it to avoid pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight meltdowns. In an interview with Yahoo News, Anniston revealed that whenever she walks into an airplane puts her right foot first and taps the plane’s surface before stepping in. “Whenever I walk onto an airplane, I always have to go on with my right foot first and tap the outside of the plane. I have always done it. For luck. Someone told me to do it, and I don’t remember when that was. But it’s kind of stuck”, she shared.

During the 2013 Emmy Awards, Sofia Vergara revealed to E! News that she has a weird habit of putting on her socks and going to sleep even if it is during the summer. "I put them on at the end of the night when nobody's looking”, the 54-year-old actor revealed. Most probably, this quirky habit made the 'Modern Family' garner more love from fans.

We have all enjoyed watching Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter in ‘The Big Bang Theory. But did you know the star had a weird habit of sticking chewing gum to the walls? In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, his colleague and co-actor Kunal Nayyar, who plays Raj Koothrappali in the show, revealed that the actor used to stick chewing gum onto one of the dilapidated walls. Down there is nothing; there’s a wall there where Johnny Galecki, for 12 years, would stick his chewing gum on. I’m not joking; there’s a wall of 3,000 dried chewing gum from Johnny Galecki.”
