'Strictly Come Dancing': Emma Willis set to host show with Zoe Ball
Celebrity presenter Emma Willis is reportedly set to host 'Strictly Come Dancing' alongside Zoe Ball. After a successful chemistry test, Willis has allegedly accepted the BBC's offer, seen as a new generation's Tess Daly. Ball is expected to fill the role of Claudia Winkleman, managing the show's stars. This follows Daly and Winkleman's retirement announcement.
Emma Willis, the celebrity presenter, has been rumoured to put on her waltzing shoes to host the renowned show, ‘Strictly Come Dancing,’ alongside a famous face. After Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepped aside from their roles last year, fans had their speculation radar on.

Emma Willis and Zoe Ball have the perfect chemistry

Post the audition rounds to find the pair with perfect chemistry, Willis has allegedly been offered the role with Zoe Ball. “Emma has been offered the Strictly job and is going to accept. She absolutely nailed the chemistry tests and the BBC adore her,” mentioned a report by The Sun, before adding, “Emma is a household name and a safe pair of hands so the BBC know she will do the job justice.” Taking over the new era of the show, Willis has been trusted to take the role down to the tee. The report further mentioned that the ‘Love is Blind: UK’ host is thrilled with the offer. Donning the new role, Willis is viewed as the new generation’s Tess of the show. “Her background in live – and occasionally tense – broadcasting situations means she can handle anything that is thrown at her,” the port cited. As for Ball, she will be the new Claudia Winkleman, who skillfully handles the room full of celebrities and pros.
Other than Emma Willis and Zoe Ball, the other pairs who had the chemistry tests include Alex Jones and Rylan Clark, along with Bradley Walsh and Rob Rinder.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman's retirement

Back in September 2025, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced their retirement. “We were always going to leave together, and now feels like the right time. We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series, and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show,” they said, adding that their term had been a dream.
