In her latest interview with Vanity Fair, the actress claimed to have learnt from the greatest, citing fellow actress Raven-Symoné.

"I will say I did grow up watching Raven-Symoné, who I think is one of the queens of facial expression," she says, mirroring the Disney starlet's That's So Raven's famous catchphrase, "Ya nasty!"

"It is in me. I grew up like this. "She was amazing," the Challengers actress continues. "What I like about her comedy on that show is that it's still relevant now. My tiny niece... is she eight now? I got her to watch The Cheetah Girls for the first time the other day."

The actress acknowledges that her niece was not fully sold on it.

"To be honest, she asked, 'Why are you so into it?'" Zendaya admits to executing the dances and singing "I don't want to be like Cinderella" throughout the interview.

"[My niece] said, 'Um... Auntie. Girl. "Calm down.

Zendaya's devotion is extensive, as she admits, "I used to be a Cheetah Girl myself. My three school mates and I were known as the Cheetah Girls.

"We would rehearse outside since the auditorium had sliding-glass windows, and we would rehearse in reflection. We tried auditioning other girls. It was very serious. We gave a performance on Grandparents Day. "It was real."

Zendaya, like Raven-Symoné, grew up on the Disney Channel, where she starred in Shake It Up from 2010 to 2013 and later in the Disney Channel Original Movie Frenemies, among other productions from the decade.
