Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui has been quite a popular name in the industry much before entering the reality TV show scene. His reality show stints have only earned him more popularity. By 2023, Munawar Faruqui, a young comedian from India, is believed to have amassed a wealth of around 8 crore rupees. His main revenue stream reportedly stems from stand-up shows, with each performance costing between 3 and 4 lakh rupees.

He earns over 15 lakh rupees for every sponsored Instagram post and receives more than 8 lakh rupees monthly from YouTube. Faruqui's participation in reality shows like Bigg Boss 17 and astute investment choices have further bolstered his burgeoning wealth.

Additionally, Faruqui collaborates with numerous brands for product endorsements, further boosting his overall income. According to the same report, he owns a KTM RC200 motorcycle. Reportedly, his luxury car collection comprises a Mahindra Scorpio, MG Hector, and a Toyota Fortuner.

Bollywood actor and television host Salman Khan announced Faruqui, aged 32, as the winner, presenting him with a car and a cash prize of ₹50 lakh.

Reportedly, Munawar earned between Rs 7 lakh to Rs 8 lakh weekly for participating in Bigg Boss 17. Over the 12-week tenure, his earnings from the show totalled Rs 84 lakh to Rs 96 lakh. Combined with the prize money, his total earnings ranged from Rs 1.34 crore to Rs 1.46 crore.

Hosted by Kangana Ranaut, Munawar received the Lock Upp trophy, ₹20 lakh cash prize, a car and an all-expenses-paid trip to Italy as part of his winnings.

His weekly fee for Lock Upp varied from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh, resulting in earnings totalling Rs 41 lakh to Rs 44.5 lakh over the seven weeks. His total earnings from Lock Upp amounted to Rs 61 lakh to Rs 64.5 lakh.

Munawar, born on January 28, 1992, in Junagadh, Gujarat, India, faced struggles from the outset. Following the upheaval of the 2002 Gujarat riots, his family moved to Mumbai. Tragedy struck at the tender age of 13 with the loss of his mother, yet Faruqui's resilience and resolve were forged in the crucible of these early trials.
