Suhasi Dhami
has always been someone who has enjoyed her outdoor adventures and when she got a chance to add another feather to her cap she did so again. The actress recently participated in a 3km
Swimathon
race in Pune at Kasarsai lake and stood 6th in the category amongst 200 participants across categories. This sure is a feat accomplished. It so happened to be on the 8th of May (Women's Day) and she had her mom beside her cheering her up all the way.
Suhasi says, "It was challenging, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I pushed my limits and my mother was there to cheer me on. Standing in 6th position is a victory for me in my own way."
This is the 2nd time around Suhasi has participated in something so challenging, the first being the Triathlon she stood a position in at the beginning of the year.
Recently, while talking to ETimes TV exclusively Suhasi credited her mother-in-law for being understanding and patient and never putting any kind of pressure on them, "My mother-in-law is an angel. She in all these years of marriage has never forced us to start a family. I think she must have mentioned it once but she never uttered a word after that. My father used to say a lot but she never put any pressure. Of course there are phases in any relationship when there are frictions. When you are doing a daily soap there are days when you don’t see each other. There are times when you are shooting for long Shaadi sequences and you just come home and sleep and the next day get ready and leave. So there have been frictions but eventually everyone understands. They understand that it is a crucial time and it is not going to be the same every time," she concluded.
