Aapka Apna Zakir: From Shah Rukh Khan gifting a bike to John Abraham to Nikkhil Advani's Salman-SRK blunder on sets of Salaam-e-Ishq; Cast of Vedaa reveals amusing anecdotes

Aapka Apna Zakir is receiving a lot of attention from the audience. The recent installment of the show featured the movie's stellar star cast, Vedaa, as well as the project's director. Nikkhil Advani, Sharvari Wagh, John Abraham, and Abhishek Banerjee attended the presentation and shared many experiences about their lives and renowned films.

Sharvari shared how she bagged her first project, "I was studying for my engineering exam and my professor told me that if I participated in the Fresh Face contest then he would give me attendance for the 3-hour lecture. So to save myself from the lecture I went and participated. I even won it and my face was on the front page of Times Of India and then I started getting audition calls."

John opened up about his early days when he started off with Modelling, he said, "After the shoot at the Ad Agency, I took up modelling and then I participated in Gladrags and there my judge was Shah Rukh Khan. My life has come a full circle, the last film I did Pathaan was with Shah Rukh Khan sir."

I recall there being a party after the film, but I went to bed early. Shah Rukh invited me to a party, but I told him I needed to sleep. He enquired what I wanted, and I asked for a motorbike. He handed me a bike. I was really pleased and returned home.

Abhishek Banerjee reveals how his whole family is a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan. He recalled a fun incident, "During my mama's wedding, Agneepath was being played on TV. My whole family including the bride and groom paused the wedding for Big B's 'Vijay Deenanath Chauhan scene' and then resumed the rituals after the whole scene was over. I even went to Big B's college and then graduated from the theatre group where he used to perform."

After the dispute with Karan Johar over Kal Ho Na Ho, Nikhil wanted to do something big. He worked on Salam-e-Ishq. Nikhil stated that on the first day of the Salaam-E-Ishq shoot, he had a group of approximately 500 juniors ready, while Salman Khan was ready for the shot. He stated, "I sat near the monitor and said, Shah Rukh, are you ready?" Salman ne mujhe dekha. Pura set silent hogaya. Usne mujhe dekha aur bola, Ha Karan, I'm ready."

When John opened up about Animal welfare, Shweta shared, "John, my daughter, Palak, she is 22 years old now. Ever since she earned her first check, she has been donating 20% of her income to animal welfare."
