Aashka Goradia's fan moment with Falcon pilots

Trust Aashka Goradia to break boundaries and norms. From flying airplanes to performing pole dancing and yoga, she likes to tread on the unbeaten path. The actress, who is currently in the US visiting her in-laws, had an unforgettable experience, recently. She saw fighter jets flying over the stadium at a college American football game she attended.The actress shares, "All of us stood up for their national anthem just before the game began. I haven’t learnt the entire anthem, but I love its melody and the reverence it brings to the history of how America fought for its independence. During the last line of the anthem, four F-16 Fighting Falcon jets flew over the stadium, filling the air with a thunderous boom. My heart literally skipped a beat! I have a deep love for flying machines, and I couldn’t help but tear up. I am able to pilot a Cessna aircraft myself, but 90,000 people, the pride of the country, the tradition of college football, and fighter jet engines — it was sensory overload. Later on in the game, I saw the four pilots in the stadium, where they were honoured during one of the timeouts. I timidly approached the fence and asked them for a photo. I was so star struck!"
