Abhilash Chaudhary, who was seen playing a sub-inspector Hasan Naqvi in
Savdhaan India
, has quit the show. The actor took this decision after shoot relocated owing to lockdown.
He said, "From a long time I was playing a cop in TV series or movies. I wanted to break my image and as an actor wanted to do other genre. I was offered two moves by RGV (Ram Gopal Varma) sir. So I moved on with that. As shoots are not happening in Mumbai so adjusting time was not at all possible. Hence I have quit Savdhaan India."
“It was a long time I was shooting outdoor and wasn't in Mumbai… so finally I got some time to relax with my family. I enjoyed staying at home,” he further added.
Earlier in March this year, shooting of Savdhaan India was disallowed for 15 days after the fatal bike accident of crew member.
The actor said, “But yes, it is quite sad to read and learn about how Covid-19 virus has damaged a lot. Literally sad that our industry lost many good actors, many lost their parents. I just wish that old days return back soon.”
