Actor Altamash Faraz on his TV comeback, says ‘It feels great to be back on-screen’ - Exclusive

Actor Altamash Faraz, who last charmed the audience in the show Yeh Hai Chahatein, is back on TV with a bang. He is currently seen playing the lead role in the show Anokha Bandhan. In a conversation with us, Altamash aka Vardaan from Anokha Bandhan, shared the reason for staying away from TV after his last show in 2022 and what made him make a comeback.
Sharing the reason for staying away from TV, the actor says,"Being an artist, I love playing interesting character which have an large arc to them.I was waiting for compelling scripts and meaningful characters that excite me and makes the audience want to watch the character and the story. I want to do things that excite me and makes me happy. I only work on instinct and like to fill my vessel as an artist when i am not working and thats when i am always travelling and seeing the world. I am all about experiencing life. I only want to grow as an actor and get into the ranks of the greatest. God has been kind and the audiences have always loved my work."

Now the actor is back on TV, and he gives credit to the story for accepting this offer. Altamash says, "The engaging plot of 'Anokha Bandhan' drew me into taking up this project. As I said, I always look for characters that leave an indelible mark on the audience and my character Vardaan, who thinks he is superior because he is a man, will showcase a different and true side of society, highlighting patriarchal issues."

Sharing his happiness at being back on TV, the actor says, "It feels great to be back on-screen as i love being in front of the camera. It’s a different feeling to dive back into the world of acting and embrace a wonderful opportunity to showcase my talent and bring a character to life. I am quite satisfied to choose this character and show as my comeback project."

Altamash Faraz made a mark professionally with his role in "Yeh Hai Chahatein." Additionally, his presence in music videos like "Meri Ashiqui" and "Dil Galti Kar Baitha Hai" by Jubin Nautiyal showcases his versatility. His lead role in the web series "Flight Attendant" further highlighted his talent and range as an actor.
