Actress Mahhi Vij reveals she feels guilty as a ‘working mom’; says, ‘I wonder if I’m doing enough’
Mahhi Vij, who recently made headlines after announcing her divorce from Jay Bhanushali, shared a wholesome post with daughter Tara. She revealed how Tara won a gold medal at an event in her school. However, she feels guilty for missing important days and events as a working mom. She further thanked Tara for always understanding her.
Mahhi took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures and videos of Tara from the event. While sharing the post, she penned down a long note expressing how she feels while balancing both work and motherhood. Jay Bhanushali also commented on the post, expressing his excitement for Tara.
The post read, “My six-year-old just won a gold medal today, and my heart is overflowing with pride. There are so many days when I’m working and struggling to keep up with her schedule. I miss events, I miss moments, and sometimes I lean on fellow moms for help. As a mother, there are times when guilt creeps in and I wonder if I’m doing enough. But today, Tara, you made me feel so proud and so strong.”
She further wrote, “The way you understand your working mom, the way you handle things with so much love and maturity at just six years old… it’s truly beautiful. Every holiday I get, every moment I spend watching you grow, reminds me why I keep going. I’m trying my best to balance everything, and you are my strength. You are my everything.”
Recently, Mahhi, who is currently seen in Sehar Hone Ko Hai, also shared an appreciation post for Natasa Stankovic. She shared a clip of her son Agastya enjoying the cricket match with Hardik’s girlfriend. Sharing the clip with a long note, Mahhi wrote, “This is how beautiful the world looks when a child learns to love and not hate. Natasha, you are doing such a wonderful job as a mother.”
