Actress Rashmi Mann on Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna; says ‘He connected well with the audience’
Actress Rashmi Mann, who was recently seen in the web series Khauf, recently opened up about her views on the latest season of Bigg Boss. A keen follower of the reality show, Rashmi shared her thoughts on winner Gaurav Khanna, the finalists she enjoyed watching and the contestant who truly stood out for her.
Rashmi revealed that she doesn’t watch Bigg Boss merely for entertainment. For her, the show is “an insightful study of human behaviour and dynamics.” As an actor, she believes observing people in high-pressure situations is essential. “Reality shows offer a raw, unfiltered look at emotions, relationships and reactions when individuals are pushed out of their comfort zones,” she said, adding that such platforms help her understand human psychology better.
Speaking about Gaurav Khanna’s win, Rashmi struck a balanced note. “Anyone who survives in the house for that long is a winner in their own way,” she said. Praising Gaurav’s journey, she added, “He was strong, smart and maintained a calm, balanced presence throughout. He had his standout moments, and those connected well with the audience.” According to her, his maturity and composure played a key role in his victory.
Interestingly, Rashmi admitted she didn’t have a fixed favourite this season. However, she was happy to see Tanya and Farhana make it to the finale. “Their friendship was my favourite arc of the show,” she shared, calling their bond refreshing and genuine amid all the chaos and conflicts.
When asked about the contestant who impressed her the most, Rashmi didn’t hesitate. “Tanya Mittal was an absolute trendsetter,” she said with a laugh. “From her saris to her stories, she was a blast to watch. If it was all strategy, I need a strategist like her in my life!” Rashmi feels Tanya brought colour, unpredictability and charm, making her one of the most memorable faces of the season.
