After styling for Kumkum Bhagya actors in 2015, Anila Kharbanda will now act in the show; she says, 'Life has come full circle for me'
Anila Kharbanda, who was last seen in the show Kundali Milan, has now joined the cast of Kumkum Bhagya. The actress is excited to be part of this show as it is one of the longest-running shows and she feels grateful for this opportunity.
Sharing about her role in the show, she says, "It's just been three days since I have started shooting. My character will make an entry on the show in today's episode and I want to see how people react. I will be playing the role of Rajjo and for now my track is planned for six months and the makers have told me that it might get extended thereafter."
Anila has come a long way from the time she started her career as a costume stylist. Incidentally, she had styled the leads on Kumkum Bhagya. She shares, "Before I became an actor in this industry in 2019, I was a costume stylist. I started in 2013. Around 2015 when Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia were the leads of Kumkum
Bhagya, I styled them for the show. And now with me becoming an actor in Kumkum Bhagya, I feel life has come full circle."
Anila, who has also worked as an assistant director, enjoyed her stint behind the camera. But at one point, she decided to do the switch and give acting a shot. She recounts, "IInitially when I was working behind the camera, people would come up to me and say that I would fit a certain role in the show. But I was not confident enough to take it up. But over time, I gained the confidence and decided to take it up. That's how my acting journey started. I am a person who goes with the flow and that's what I did. And I am happy with my decision today."
