The newly launched TV show Advocate Anjali Awasthi has been winning hearts ever since its inception. The show has been ranking well on the TRP charts as well. Now, to add more drama to the show, Shailesh Lodha who was formerly a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has now returned to TV in an interesting character of Ramesh Patel.
As per the new promo of the show, Shailesh plays the character of Ramesh Patel who is an advocate and has come to help Anjali with her new case. He calls himself Anjali's saarthi like how Shri Krishna had guided Arjun in the war of Mahabharat.
Looking at the promo, fans commented on Shailesh's post, a user wrote, "Mehta saheb kaha aagya aap ... Fire brigade ki acchi kahasi naukri chorke." Another one wrote, "Vah mehta sahab tarak mehta chod diya but anjali bhabhi ka sath nhi choda."
Another one added, "Really excited to see you back in the fiction TV series sir." One of them wrote that he again got a co-star with the name Anjali, "Yahan par bhi anjali mil gayi aapko".
Earlier in a podcast, Shailesh Lodha had opened up about his reason behind quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, "It was a matter of self-respect. That’s why I decided to quit the show. There was a show on the same channel Good Night India and it was not my show. The series was about standup comedians and artists and the makers invited me as a special guest on one episode. I was invited as the poet Shailesh Lodha, I went there and why wouldn’t I? I have been working as a poet since 1980 and I’m what I’m today only because of Hindi Kavita. Mere jaane par koi dikkat bhi nahi thi, koi rok tok honi bhi nahi chahiye. I was contractually not bound by anyone to not go on a show of this nature. I can go as Shailesh Lodha anywhere and in fact this was on the same platform/channel."
