Akash Jagga on sharing screen with Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee in Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani; says ‘The energy on set has gone up a notch’
Actor Akash Jagga, who plays Kundan in Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani, opens up about sharing screen space with Rani Chatterjee. She is a prominent Indian actress, dancer, and television presenter, best known for her extensive work in Bhojpuri films. She is considered one of the highest-paid actresses in the Bhojpuri film industry.
Jagga said, "Working with Rani Chatterjee has been an absolute delight. She’s incredible with her craft and doing scenes with her was refreshing, there was so much genuine give and take. With her entry as Jwala, the energy on set has gone up a notch. I’m sure the audience is going to love this track, it’s something very fresh and exciting!"
The show is all set for a dramatic shift with the entry of Rani Chatterjee, an actress known for portraying strong, impactful women. Earlier speaking about stepping into this fiery role, Rani said, “The show has already been on air for the last five to six months, but I can confidently say that after my entry, the entire story will take a powerful turn. My character, Jwala, will bring a big change to the narrative. Even the name ‘Jwala’ reflects how strong and fiery this character is. She carries a kind of fire and strength that personally inspires me as well.”
On professional front, Akash is known for his television debut was with Kasautii Zindagii Kay in 2020, where he played the role of Kaushik Chakraborty. He is also known for playing Gagan Narayan in Sasural Simar Ka 2 and Malhar Thakur in Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii.
