Akshay Kumar credits Rajpal Yadav as the reason for his success in comedy on Wheel of Fortune

The film Bhoot Bangla will create a hilarious experience for viewers through its star-studded cast, which will perform in Wheel of Fortune. The audience observed a touching display of professional friendship between Akshay Kumar and Rajpal Yadav during the tense moments of the puzzle competition.

Ekta Kapoor and Wamiqa Gabbi praised Rajpal Yadav's perfect comic timing in Bhoot Bangla before the puzzle round began. Wamiqa expressed her happiness about working with him because she considered him to be a highly skilled actor.





Akshay Kumar dedicated the award to his fellow actor Rajpal, whom he described as the industry's undisputed comedy king. Akshay paid tribute to his co-star through an emotional speech about their long-running professional partnership. "Humari jodi itni chali hai filmo mein aur humne itne saare filmo mein kaam kiya hain. "I need to speak the truth because my comedy work depends on his contribution."

The two performers who previously created successful movies through Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Phir Hera Pheri, and Garam Masala have reunited for their new project, Bhoot Bangla. The actors' onscreen connection matched their offscreen friendship, which showed through their shared scenes.

Akshay, who earlier hosted the stunt-based show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi” (2008-2011) and judged “MasterChef India” (2010), spoke to PTI during the launch of Wheel of Fortune. He stated that TV can unite family audiences and he hopes his new show will foster this connection.

“Over the years, iconic television formats and their hosts haven’t just entertained, they have built trust, brought generations together, and created moments where families sit together, play along and celebrate wins as one. For me, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ feels like coming home to that family audience, the kind that gathers after a long day to unwind together,” he told PTI.

Wheel of Fortune, hosted by Akshay Kumar, will start on January 27. The game show is based on the format of the hit American television show by the same name.
