Akkshith said, "Yes, the show is taking a 5-year leap. The story will change after the leap and Chirag and Deepika will no longer love each other. Deepika will give birth to a baby boy but Chirag will disown the baby because his medical condition is such that he cannot have a child. So, he will hate Deepika now. There will be many twists and turns in the upcoming story."

Ask Akkshith if the leap was planned in order to bring more drama and he said, "The show is doing well. And the leap was already planned at this point. The makers have not introduced a leap because they want more drama. The story has moved organically ahead. I have been busy shooting and I am enjoying this new twist ahead."

The show earlier revolved around how Chirag loved Deepika for her qualities and so he married her. Deepika's sister was in love with Chirag but she had to forcibly marry his younger brother. Chirag's mother never approved of Deepika because she was not good-looking and so she always made schemes to separate Chirag and Deepika. However after the leap Chirag's mother Lavanya will love Deepika because she has given birth to a baby boy while Chirag will disapprove of Deepika as he is convinced that she had an affair with someone else.
