Actor Akshy Mishra who essays the negative role of Babu Bhaiya, is enjoying his journey in the show 'Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai', which features Manasi Joshi Roy and Navika Kotia.
He said, "My role in the show is growing amazingly. I'm loving and enjoying my journey of essaying Babu Bhaiya. He's Dabang (Brave) and carries a Desi (regional) look. He's pure negative and a gangster, hence people are afraid of him."
The actor says playing the role becomes easy for him as the personality of the character is from Uttar Pradesh. He continued, "Babu in the show is a guy from Uttar Pradesh but currently living in Surat for a mission. So his personality and language is similar to local UP guy. Hence, I can perform the character very easily as my hometown in real is Uttar Pradesh."
Akshy added that the audiences are appreciating his acting and new look.
He added, "I'm experimenting with my look in the show. As I kept my hair long.. style like a villain with beard. I'm working out more to look in proper shape. I'm flooded with greetings on my social media. My audiences are appreciating my acting. It gives me immense pleasure to read the messages and encourage me to perform well. I'm happy and working hard to entertain them more and more."
He concluded, "Though I'm playing a negative role but I'm sure to explore new genre and new opportunities in future projects. I don't want to repeat myself and get typecast." Previously, talking about his role, he said, “I'm happy that I'm playing a challenging role. As an actor I was always looking for something so promising to play. I feel for my look and mannerism, my role is inspired by Telugu super star, Allu Arjun from his film 2021 superhit movie, Pushpa: The Rise.”
Akshy, known for his acting in television shows like Shabana Azmi-starrer Amma, Shaadi Ke Siyaape and the second season of 24 mentioned that he doesn't want to get typecast.
