Alisha Parveen recently got replaced in Anupamaa, the actress was playing the character of Raahi in the next generation. The actress opened up about her exit to BT, 'It is shocking and disappointing. I am not sure what exactly happened and why I am being replaced! Today was my last day on the set of Anupamaa. It was a fantastic opportunity, and everybody loved my chemistry with Shivam Khajuria. But I have no clue why I was suddenly replaced. I had a meeting yesterday and was told about this decision. I am completely clueless, but it happens sometimes. I will focus on my future projects now.'

Shehzada Dhami, who played Armaan, was unexpectedly replaced owing to his unprofessional behaviour. Shehzada allegedly threw tantrums and mistreated the staff from the start, upsetting the harmonious environment that Rajan Shahi's production business strives for. Despite attempts to resolve the situation, his actions remained.

Pratiksha Honmukhe, who played Roohi, was a novice nurtured by the production firm but eventually failed to match character standards. Her departure was apparently linked to performance difficulties, resulting in a major restructuring of the popular television show. Pratiksha exclusively shared, "It was difficult for me, there were many things that I was overthinking about. I had just started, I left my job, I used to fly for 7 years and I took a risk to venture into acting. But then all this happened, so it was really difficult as the career was at stake. Gladly, by god's grace, I bagged another show. Jab aap acche hote ho toh aapke saath accha hi hota hai."

Paras Kalnawat was replaced in the show Anupamaa overnight. Sagar Parekh took over the role of Samar in the show. In a recent interaction, the actor hinted that his track was sidelined in the show. Bakhtiyaar and Ali raised questions, asking, “Does an actor really have the power to cut a co-star’s track? Isn’t that the production team’s decision?” They further added, “If someone from the No. 1 show says they have an issue shooting with another actor, will the team really cater to that demand? We won’t name names, but everyone knows who we’re talking about.”

Ritvik Arora had also been replaced with Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke went back on air after the Lockdown. The actor exclusively spoke to ETimes TV back then revealing, "Well, I don’t have a self-centric perspective on the situation. I had to quit the show, but I worked on my role with diligence. Besides, I got to learn a lot, made some lifelong friendships, and have wonderful memories that I will always cherish. Knowing that the entire team shared this mutual dedication, makes me sad to hear that the show has gone off air."

Hina Khan had made a controversial exit from her show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai, things turned sour between her and the producer. Hina Khan took an indirect dig at Rajan Shahi by pointing out that someone who speaks frequently isn't always correct. She emphasised that, while she has high regard and respect for him and has no ill will towards him, it is equally vital to recognise that those who talk less are not always wrong.
