All good things come to an end: Shiny Doshi on her exit from TV show Pandya Store

Television show Pandya Store is taking a leap and the entire cast, except Kruttika Desai, will soon exit the show. Shiny Doshi, who played the lead character Dhara, is not disappointed, but emotional. She said, “It has been a great journey and if I were to have an opportunity to stay further in the show, I would have to age on screen and I wasn’t keen on doing that. I have done everything that I had to on this show and all good things come to an end. I will miss the entire cast.”

She added, "I have no regrets or disappointment, because I have done everything in the show that I had to, and not much was left for me now. I have done many shows in the prime time slot but this show is very special because it gave me a lot of love and attention. I felt that I had great amount of challenge in playing Dhara. It will be emotional to cut and move ahead but the journey is over now."

Ask her if she will take a break and Shiny said, "No, I want to take the bar higher now after playing Dhara. I want makers to offer me even more interesting roles because they have seen me play diverse roles in my career. So, am hoping that something works out soon."

The actress hasn’t taken a long holiday for a while now. She said, “If the lead actor takes a long holiday, the script has to undergo several changes. So, I just went to Goa recently for three days with my nephew. In the future, post my exit, I will plan a good holiday.”
