Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s family in Bilaspur face GST raid; reportedly deposit Rs 27.5 crore after searches

Ankita Lokhande and her husband, businessman Vicky Jain faced major trouble as Chhattisgarh State GST department carried out extensive search operations. It was linked to a coal firm associated with the business family in Bilaspur. The multi-location raids in Bilaspur resulted in a total tax surrender of Rs. 27.5 crore from three major coal trading groups, officials said as reported in media.

The action was initiated on the directions of State GST Secretary Mukesh Bansal. Enforcement teams from Raipur conducted simultaneous searches at 11 locations connected to Mahavir Coal Washery, Feel Coal and Paras Coal & Beneficiation. The operations began on December 12 morning and continued till late night. They covered the offices, residential premises, washeries and industrial plants.




During the course of the search, which was reportedly linked to the family of Ankita and Vicky, the family surrendered around Rs. 10 crore. On the next day, they deposited Rs. 11 crore, and another washery surrendered Rs. 6.5 crore, taking the total amount to Rs. 27.5 crore.



According to preliminary findings, GST officials suspected manipulation in tax input.

The news came out recently on the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary, which is today. Earlier in the day, Ankita wrote a deeply personal message that resonated with many. “4 years of us Of growing, learning, falling, rising side by side.. Ankita posted a video capturing the glimpses of their married life. Ankita and Vicky Jain were last seen together in Laughter Chefs season 1 and 2. Vicky recently produced his first Bollywood film Haq starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
