Ankita Lokhande recalls buying her first Manish Malhotra outfit in 2011 as she re-wears it for an event; says, 'Yeh mera apne paison se kharida hua pehla suit tha'

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain recently visited Agra for an event. As the duo reach the city, they take a tour of the Taj Mahal and other historic sites around. Ankita and Vicky met a lot of their fans as they reached the hotel, a fan even gifted a painting of Ankita.
As they entered the hotel room, there were sweets kept for them and Vicky quizzed Ankita to find out which one they had cooked in Laughter Chefs. Ankita then missed out on naming it correctly. Vicky said, 'It's petha paan, marine banaya tha yeh, that is why we got a star.'

The duo then drove to admire the Taj Mahal and the historic sites. Ankita asked Vicky to also build a monument for her. Sharing their experience, Vicky said, 'It was an incredible experience, just that we went towards the evening due to which we couldn't admire the white beauty of Taj and it looked fade pink in the evening. The marble was exuding such beautiful colours towards the sunset. But I surely recommend all of you to go in the day.'

Further, the duo shot from their hotel room, where they got decked up for an event. Ankita then revealed that the outfit she was wearing was her first Manish Malhotra outfit that she bought in 2011. When Vicky asked why she was mentioning the designer, she said, 'Yeh mera apne paison se kharida hua pehla suit tha. Aaj hum kitne bhi kapde kharid le, lekin yeh mera pehla suit tha apni kamai ka.'

For a fun trivia, Ankita had worn this outfit for the first time while receiving an award for her show Pavitra Rishta.



Further, Vicky and Ankita gave a glimpse of the event they were invited. The duo graced the fans and also the audience at the event. Vicky shared how Ankita is extremely religious and how she learnt the rituals of Jainism and participated in the religious events with him and his family.
