Anupamaa moved into a phase of major drama. Ansh and Prarthana were united in marriage, and the couple sought blessings from the family.
The blessing ceremony after the wedding was disrupted by a dispute. Anupama intervened to protect the pregnant Prarthana by suggesting that the elders give blessings without the couple bending. Leela insisted that the traditional custom be followed, and eventually everyone complied. During the ceremony, Anupama spoke about marriage, describing the role of a wife as a partner (Sahagamini) who supports her husband through life’s challenges rather than as a follower (Anugamini).
The search for Ansh’s stolen shoes added to the festivities. Rahi’s group successfully negotiated a prize, which Anupama ensured was delivered. Prarthana was comforted by Ansh and Anupama as Leela prepared for her parting ceremony. Prarthana expressed sadness over the absence of her father, Parag. Anil and Anupama discussed the emotions tied to a daughter’s departure, and Prem added that parents’ tears carried both sadness and joy.
Parag arrived unexpectedly before the farewell and reunited with Prarthana. He blessed Ansh by symbolically giving him Prarthana’s hand. At home, Gautam pretended to be upset about Parag’s absence. He was consoled by Khyati and Vasundhara, who promised to support Prarthana’s child against Parag’s wishes, while Gautam secretly continued plotting against Ansh and Anupama.
When Parag became emotional, Anupama reminded him that Prarthana had already faced many challenges. She encouraged him to remain hopeful for the future and acknowledged that parents also made mistakes.
