Anupamaa fame Anagha Bhosale recently announced her exit from the show owing to the spiritual reasons. She played the role of Paras Kalnawat aka Samar's love interest Nandini in the show. Take a look at her journey post quitting the entertainment industry:

Even after joining the show midway, Anagha managed to capture the attention of the audience. She played the role of 'Nandini' in the show and made the audience fall in love with her innocence and caring nature. After her amazing performance in the show, Anagha decided to quit Anupamaa. She left the show following the sequence of her breakup with Samar aka Paras Kalnawat. This news came as a shock to her fans.

After taking an exit from Anupamaa, the actress took to her social media handle and announced that she has decided to quit acting. She bid the final goodbye to her acting career by sharing a three-page long open letter for her fans. Anagha also revealed that she left acting because of the spiritual reasons. Her Anupamaa's co-stars Jaswir Kaur, Paras Kalnawat, Sudhanshu Pandey and many others lauded her decision.

Citing spiritual reasons behind her decision of quitting acting in her Instagram post, Anagha wrote, "She wrote, "Hare Krishna Family, I know u all have been kind & have shown concern after the show & thank you for that I am really grateful, if some of you don’t know yet that I am officially quitting the film & television industry. .this is it & I really do hope you all will definitely respect & support my decision, I did take this decision due to my religious beliefs & spiritual path, I know you should keep doing your karmas but not where your krishna consciousness or spiritual growth is getting tampered or weakened, I do believe you should get away from situations or people who increase your distance with God/Krishna".

After quitting acting, Anagha has returned back to her hometown Pune and will be staying there for sometime. Talking about her decision, the actress exclusively told ETimes TV, "I am spiritual at heart and I am deeply involved in spiritual work. After coming into this industry, I realized that it is completely opposite to what I had thought about this industry. Here there is politics, there is unhealthy competition. There is always a competition to look good and look slim. There’s also the pressure to post constantly on social media. If you don’t do these things you are left behind. These things do not match with my thoughts, my thought process".

The actress took some time out for herself and went on her first solo trip to Jagannath Puri in Orissa. She took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from her trip. Anagha also shared some beautiful pictures on social media. In the pictures, she can be seen posing in the ISCKON temple. She also had a 'chandan tilak' on her forehead. Sharing the post, she wrote, "The goal of life is to love god & in order for us to love god, We have to love each other- Radhanath Swami Maharaj. Happy Gudi Padwa. May this new year bring krishna consciousness every second, devotion, love, patience, calmness, sincerity, discipline, happiness, consistency, unbelievable faith in God.”

Anagha is a follower of Lord Krishna and it is clearly evident from her captions on social media. She has a tattoo of Lord Krishna's feather on her arm. Apart from this, she recently dyed her hair in different shades of blue. She described her hair as the 'The Krishna Hair'. Her fans appreciated the post. One of the fans wrote,"'Aap pura Krishna ke rang me dhal gayi hain ma'am".

Currently, Anagha is spending her time in Govardhan Eco Village. She keeps sharing glimpses from her trip. Recently, she shared a video of herself feeding and playing with cows. She captioned the post as, "If we please who are dear to Krishna, Krishna’s heart willingly becomes conquered -Radhanath Maharaj".
