‘Anupamaa’ February 11 written update: Anupama finds out the truth about Kapil and Kriti

The episode starts off with Rahi and Anupama having a conversation in her room. Rahi tells her mother that she is feeling anxious about something, but she does not know the reason behind her emotions. Anupama tells her that she is simply too anxious and missing Prem and tells her to call her husband. Rahi, however, mentions that she has already tried calling both Prem and Prerna; neither of them are picking up. She says that she feels as if something bad is about to happen.The scene shifts to Rahi and Mahi talking about the matter. Mahi keeps on pointing out that Prem and Prerna going on the trip on their own was not right. Rahi points out that she trusts her husband; however, Mahi points out that Prerna is depressed and that the two of them can grow close under the right circumstances. Meanwhile, some men try to tease Prerna; however, Prem stops them and saves her. This prompts Prerna to thank Prem for saving her, after which she gives him a hug. Anupama realises that Mahi has created doubts in Rahi’s head. Rahi asks her mother about Maya and Anuj; however, she brings the topic back to the present and tells her daughter to stop doing all of this. The scene shifts to Kapil confronting Kriti about her behaviour towards his mother. He tells her that she is missing and asks her why she thought it was a good idea to go and threaten her. Kriti comments that she did all of this since he was sending some of his money to his mother. When Kapil says that there is no problem with him sending some money to his mother as they already have a lot anyway, Kriti comments that his mother should die.This enrages Kapil, who almost raises his hand on Kriti; however, before anything can happen, Vasundhara sees all of this unfold. In front of her, Kriti plays the victim and slaps Kapil. She warns him to be careful around Kriti and to not pull such stunts, and then leaves the two of them alone. In a later scene, Kapil is seen trying to end his life; however, Anupama, who is passing by in front of his room, sees all of this and saves him. She scolds him for trying to take such an action and asks him about what made him go through with this.Kapil keeps saying that he wants to die, and then comments about how men are always wrong in this world, while women are correct. He comments that Kriti is not who she says she is, and that she abuses him regularly; however, nobody will ever believe him. His confession shocks Anupama. She asks him why he does not defend himself. To this, Kapil tells her that he promised his mother to never raise a hand on a woman, and that everyone, including the police are already on her side.Anupama once again asks him why he has not divorced her. Kapil shares that he is tired of her actions, but she will never agree to a divorce. He says that if she divorces him, her family will disown her, which is why she will never agree to it, no matter what. Anupama starts wondering about what she is going to do to help Kapil.
