Anupamaa and Choti Anu prepare gifts for orphans. Anuj arrives and congratulates them on their efforts. Anupamaa and Anuj teach Choti Anu how to be compassionate to the underprivileged and promote joy and happiness because they have everything. Malti Devi sees them from afar and becomes enraged, thinking about how Anupamaa is spoiling Choti Anu by teaching her generosity at such an early age.
Anuj sees Choti Anu's lack of mathematical ability as she fails to compute the amount of gifts. Anuj recalls Malti Devi's advice that Choti Anu gets a tutor. Anupamaa then informs Anuj that it is difficult for children at this age to understand studies and that they will learn with time. However, Malti Devi interrupts and advises Anupamaa to hire a tutor. Anupamaa declined and said she would devote more time to Choti Anu's academics.
Malti Devi proposes that Choti Anu study education as well as values, and Anupamaa is unable to devote time to Choti Anu. Anuj is considering hiring a tutor. Anupamaa and Anuj remove the rangoli and pray for their marriage. Kavya, Kinjal, and Toshu send their best wishes to Baa and Baapuji on Choti Diwali. Vanraj accepts the blessings of Baa and Baapuji and wishes them a happy Choti Diwali.
To commemorate the holiday, Baapuji performs music. The Shahs' neighbours mock them for dancing joyfully after Samar's death. Baa and Baapuji are enraged by their neighbours. The neighbours mock them for also celebrating Navratri. Vanraj lashes out at the neighbours, telling them he doesn't need to show his love for Samar to them. He informs them that the family is celebrating Samar and Kinjal-Toshu's impending move to the United Kingdom.
Vanraj slams the neighbours, telling them that Samar enjoys dancing and that he will sing and dance in memory of Samar. He describes how they are celebrating the event for the sake of the family. Vanraj's confidence makes the Shah family emotional, and they cheer him. The neighbours have left. Malti Devi informs the family that Anupamaa was bringing packages to customers in the manner of a delivery person. She expresses her displeasure with Anuj Kapadia's wife going door to door to distribute packages.
Anupamaa described how Baa and Baapuji had prepared the packages for delivery to everyone's homes, and how she was assisting them. Anuj becomes enraged with Anupamaa and remarks that Baa and Baapuji should have inquired if they needed anything and that they shouldn't be working so hard at this age. Malti Devi is unhappy since her plot to pit Anuj against Anupamaa failed.
Malti Devi adds that she should have sought Anuj for money because he is constantly concerned with Baa and Baapuji's needs. Anuj becomes irritated and tells her that she shouldn't have Baa and Baapuji work so hard at this age. Anupamaa reveals to Anuj how Baa and Baapuji wanted to be self-sufficient and work instead of relying on others for money.
Anupamaa suggests to Anuj that they allow older citizens to work and be self-sufficient at their old age home. Anuj liked Anupamaa's suggestion. Anupamaa informs Malti Devi that Baa wanted to return her bangles, but she and Anuj persuaded her to keep them. Romil applauds Baa and Baapuji for working so hard at such a young age. Adhik observes Pakhi, who is unwilling to work and earn her own money.
Romil slams Malti Devi, saying that all seniors should work and not be someone else's concern. The Kapadia and Shah families do Diwali puja. Anupama and Anuj seek the blessings of Malti Devi. Kinjal and Toshu seek the blessings of Vanraj.
Anuj surprised Anupamaa by presenting her with the property paperwork for their old age house. Anuj and Anupamaa sign their agreements. Anuj states that the old age home is named after Anupamaa. Malti Devi becomes enraged when Anuj signs documents without reading them because Anupama reads them.
The Shahs describe how Anupamaa and Anuj go above and beyond for their family. Malti Devi informs Barkha that she will not allow the Shah family to use Anuj's money. The episode concludes.
