Archana Puran Singh gets emotional as her family plan her birthday celebration; says ‘I wanted to celebrate it in my childhood style’

Archana Puran Singh’s latest vlog captures a heartwarming pre-birthday celebration filled with nostalgia, love, and sweet surprises. Joined by her husband Parmeet Sethi, sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamaan, and Aaryamaan’s fiancée Yogita, Archana relived her childhood memories through simple decorations, a traditional menu, and a heartfelt family gesture. The actress got teary-eyed as her family worked hard to make her wish of celebrating like she did as a child come true.

Archana revealed why she celebrated a day earlier, saying, “If you’re watching this video on 26th September, we shot it a day ago because my production had to shoot today. So, I wanted to celebrate with my family in advance and spend quality time with them before work took over. It’s important to make memories with your loved ones, and this way, I could truly enjoy my birthday celebration.”

Sharing her excitement, Archana said, “The way I used to celebrate my birthday in my childhood, why don’t we do it the same way this year? We used to cut crepe paper into streamers, blow balloons ourselves, and tie them with thread. It was all about simplicity and togetherness. I wanted to bring that innocence and joy back, and my family made it possible for me today.”

Archana reminisced about a childhood memory, laughing, “An Italian friend of my father sent me a life-size doll. I sat on our gatepost holding it, waving to passersby. People probably thought I was crazy, but I was just so excited to show it off! It’s a memory etched in my heart, and thinking about it always makes me giggle even today.”

Overwhelmed, Archana shared, “I didn’t want to cry in front of everyone because they think I get too emotional. But I’m deeply touched. They worked so enthusiastically to celebrate my birthday the way I used to as a kid. It’s truly heartwarming to see the love and effort my family put in just to make me feel special today.”

Archana recreated her childhood menu, saying, “We had cucumber sandwiches, jalebi, wafers, samosas, and small bottles of cold drinks — simple yet perfect! Even the Elora pastry I loved as a child was replicated exactly. I only made cucumber sandwiches because at that time we only ate cucumber sandwiches.”

Archana recently took a trip to Dehradun, where she gave a glimpse of her fondness for pastries. Parmeet and the sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamann arranged for the pastries and flew them in Mumbai by a special flight. Archana appreciated such a thoughtful and emotional surprise.
