Archana Puran Singh shares being depressed during her Comedy Circus days; says, “I felt I would never smile”

Archana Puran Singh, who’s currently impressing fans with The Great Indian Kapil Show, recently appeared in a vlog with sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan. There, they spoke about their lives and how Aaryamann’s journey in life has been. While talking about her son’s struggles with mental health, she mentioned how she has gone through a similar phase. However, she also assured fans that the bad days eventually pass.

Archana mentioned that people think that when one has money, their life is sorted. However, that’s not always the case. She further revealed being depressed during her Comedy Circus days.




She shared, “People must be thinking you don’t know what I am going through or what I have gone through. And there was no hope. Trust me, I have been there. I have also gone through such times, once, not many times, when I felt that there was no point in living. There was no point. I felt like I would never be able to smile. It was a time when I used to sit on the Comedy Circus chair, and I still laugh, and I laugh for real.”


She further added, “So at that time, when I felt that I would never smile, that time passed and a good time came. So please don’t give up hope. Don’t give up on yourself. Don’t give up on yourself. The world can give up on you, but you should not give up on yourself. That is the most important thing. And wherever you are today, we have all gone through that phase.”


Aaryamann responded to it and said, “The truth is, every person has something going on inside them. On the outside, the situation may look perfect, but what a person is going through internally can be completely different. People assume that if someone has money, then they must be happy. By that logic, Elon Musk should be the happiest person in the world, and I really don’t think he is. Look at Hollywood marriages and divorces. These are some of the richest and most famous people in the world. Then why? Because happiness is not directly connected to money. Yes, money can solve some problems. It can give you comfort. But money is not the ultimate answer to everything.”
