Arti Singh on battling anxiety after losing close friends Sidharth Shukla and Shefali Jariwala: 'It’s extremely scary'

Bigg Boss 13 fame Arti Singh has openly spoken in the past about suffering from depression and panic attacks. The actress recently appeared on Rashami Desai's chat show where she revealed how sudden deaths of close friends Shefali Jariwala and Sidharth Shukla has impacted her emotionally and mentally.

Speaking her heart out during the chat show, Arti shared that losing her friends has left her feeling anxious and scared. She also revealed how there are moments when she feels emotionally very weak.




“It is extremely scary and also makes me anxious. I feel extremely nervous and scared, and at times I even get emotional and call up Paras Chabbra to calm myself down. It just scares me,” she said.

Arti credited her husband Dipak Chauhan for bringing calmness in her life, especially when she gets anxious and scared.

She shared, “I have calmed down a lot after marriage. My panic and hyper moments have reduced significantly because Deepak is very sensible. He understands me and handles situations with maturity whenever I get overwhelmed. He stays calm and calms me down."

For the uninitiated, Arti shared a close bond with both Sidharth Shukla and Shefali Jariwala. All three were part of Bigg Boss 13. Sidharth Shukla, who was the winner of Bigg Boss 13 passed away in September 2021 due to heart attack. On the other hand, Shefali Jariwala also passed away earlier this year in June. Both were in their early 40s, and their sudden deaths left the country deeply shocked and saddened.

On personal note, Arti tied the knot in an arranged marriage setup with businessman Dipak Chauhan in April 2024. Their wedding was a lavish affair and was attended by many popular TV and Bollywood celebrities. She has been away from the small screen after her marriage. Arti is popular actor Krushna Abhishek's younger sister and has done TV shows like Waaris, Parichay, Shravani, Thoda Hai Bus Thode Ki Zarurat Hai amongst others.
