Arti shared in the interview, "I have spoken about it. I was 13, aur ghar ka he servant tha and I just remember, I was sleeping and he walked into my room. Humari jhadap hui and maine usko haanth jod ke bola tu toh bhai hai na. Main choti thi yaar, 13 saal ki thi. Machine lagi hui thi, I still remember, apne gharon nahi woh galleries hoti hain. Main jhaake udhar giri, portico mein dekha woh bhi lock tha. Woh dophar ka dhoop tha, Mummy meri gayi thi farm par, main akeli thi, nahi soch sakta insaan."
(I have spoken about it before. I was just 13, and he was a servant in our house. I remember I was sleeping when he came into my room. We struggled, and I even folded my hands and told him, ‘You’re like a brother.’ I was very young, just 13. I still remember there was a machine nearby, and our house had those open gallery areas. I tried to escape from there and ended up falling into the portico. That was also locked. It was a hot afternoon, my mother had gone to the farm, and I was completely alone. It was a terrifying situation no one can even imagine."
She added, "Maine Dheere Dheere se upar aayi and I jumped from the second floor. I was that strong that nothing happened to me. I'd never shared this with anyone before Bigg Boss. During Bigg Boss 13 I ended up saying because the situation was like that and it was not for sympathy. The situation was such that I opened up."
For the uninitiated, Arti had spoken about the incident during one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 13 when Deepika Padukone and Laxmi Agarwal had appeared on the show as special guests. She also shared that she suffered from panic attacks after the incident.
