Arti Singh responds to Sunita Ahuja ‘forgetting’ family feud, says Govinda and Mami ‘loved us like parents’
Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek used to have problems and didn’t speak for about seven years. But recently, they have made up and are friends again. Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, said she is no longer angry and wishes happiness for everyone. Krushna’s sister, Arti Singh, is happy about this and hopes their family relationship stays strong. This shows that family misunderstandings can be fixed with time and love.
Sunita recently spoke about the family dispute and expressed her forgiveness towards the younger generation. She shared that Krushna, along with Vinay, Dumpy, and her brother-in-law’s son, were like her own children. On a podcast with Paras Chhabra, she said, “I’ve forgotten everything from the past. Now I just want all the children to laugh, play, and be happy. I bless everyone.”
Responding to her aunt’s comments, Arti told Hindustan Times, “Yes, I saw that interview. I was so happy! We were always her children, and deep down, I always knew she loved us. Whatever happened in these years, you would have never heard anything from my side. I am happy to hear what she said about Krushna. I really did want to hear it. They haven’t spoken or anything, but I am so relieved that she is not upset with him anymore.”
Govinda’s wife, despite facing her own marital challenges, expressed her heartfelt wish for Arti to have a child soon and mentioned that they are no longer at an age for conflicts. She also spoke warmly about how Arti is always welcome in their home and recalled the time Arti tied rakhi on her son Yash. Responding to this, Arti said, “Yes, whenever God will decide.. she will become a rockstar nani soon! I have surrendered to God. I have loved mami and Chi Chi mama from my heart and have immense respect for them. They have loved us like our parents.”
The feud between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek reportedly began in 2016 after Krushna made a joke on The Kapil Sharma Show that offended Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja. The joke and the subsequent involvement of Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, escalated tensions, leading to a public fallout that played out over social media for years. Govinda expressed his hurt over Krushna's jokes and the negative comments made by Kashmera. The disagreement lasted until 2024, when they reconciled during Govinda's attendance at his niece Arti Singh’s wedding, ending the seven-year rift publicly.
