Legendary singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday, April 12, at the age of 92. The late singer was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, on Saturday evening due to a chest infection and exhaustion. However, on Sunday, her son Anand Bhosle confirmed her untimely demise to the media.


Asha Bhosle has passed away, and her sudden passing has come as a huge shock to her fans. Several TV celebs, as well as fans, have mourned her demise and shared condolences for her family. Divyanka Tripathi shared pictures with her and penned a heartfelt note as she mourned her untimely demise.


While sharing pictures with the legendary singer, she wrote, “A life so richly lived, that it feels like many lifetimes in one. And yet, even that seems small compared to what her voice has given us. Asha ji.”


Another TV star, Sudhanshu Pandey, wrote, “Apki god mein sar rakhkar jab ye tasveer li thi, tab nahi socha tha ki ye meri sabse anmol dharohar ban jayegi. The heartbreaking news of the legendary singer’s demise was confirmed by her son, Anand Bhosle. He told the media present outside the hospital, “Meri mataji Shrimati Asha Bhosle ka aaj nidhan ho chuka hai. Woh jahan rehti thi, Casa Grande, Lower Parel, 11 am wahan unke antim darshan honge. Wahan aaiye, aur kal dopahar ko 4 baje Shivaji Park mein unka antim sanskar hoga.” (She passed away today. Those who wish to pay their last respects can visit her residence tomorrow at 11 am. The last rites will be performed tomorrow at 4 pm at Shivaji Park.)
