Atul Parchure last rites: Sumeet Raghavan, Shreyas Talpade and others arrive at Comedy Nights with Kapil fame’s house to pay their last tribute
Popular Hindi and Marathi actor Atul Parchure, known for his comedic brilliance in shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, passed away on October 14 at the age of 57. His last rites were held on October 15 in Mumbai, with many celebrities and political figures arriving to pay their final respects to the beloved actor. Among them were actor Shreyas Talpade and politician Raj Thackeray, both visibly moved as they bid farewell to their friend. Sumeet Raghavan was also present at the funeral.
Shreyas Talpade, a long-time friend of Parchure, arrived at the late actor’s home dressed in a white shirt, a traditional symbol of mourning. He offered condolences to Parchure’s family, embracing them during this difficult time. Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader, also attended, wearing a white kurta, reflecting the gravity of the loss. Their presence, along with many others from the Hindi and Marathi entertainment industries, highlighted the deep respect and love people held for Parchure.
